Aesthetica Art Prize: Call for Entries
The new student category is open to all full or part time students. Please
find more information below.
We are offering students from University of Toronto £5 off their entry fee
when they register before 31 March 2012.
To ensure that your students don’t miss this exciting opportunity, would you
be able to share the news with them? Would you send the information out via
email or include it on Moodle or your intranet system? Also please click

We want to engage student artists worldwide with this opportunity and
encourage them to participate in the Prize by submitting work in the
following categories.
- Photographic & Digital Art
- Three Dimensional Design & Sculpture
- Painting & Drawing
- Installation & Performance
Eight shortlisted artists will be selected for an exhibition in spring 2013,
four of which will be students.
The judging panel this year will include:
* Frances Guy, Head of Collections & Exhibitions at the Hepworth
Wakefield
* Sculptor Kate MccGwire, represented by All Visual Arts, London
* Photographic, film and video artist Neeta Madahar, represented by
Purdy Hicks, London
* Cherie Federico, Editor of Aesthetica Magazine
The main prize is £1000 and the winning student will receive £500. Both will
receive editorial coverage in Aesthetica Magazine. The winners and
finalists, as well as a long list of artists will also be published in the
accompanying publication. All artists featured will receive a complimentary
copy of this.
The entry fee is £15 and allows the submission of two pieces into any one
